Software development and support of a web-based patient tracking application (PACTS). Responsibilities include:

• Enhancement of the application GUI using Java, JSPs, Struts, Javascript, JQuery and SQL. Also, graphic production using Photoshop.
• Development of a web-based reporting tool, using Jasper Reports, which is configurable and runnable by end-users.
• Authoring of data processing and data loading scripts on AIX.
• Authoring of an automated test-case framework for integration and QA testing.
• Generation and deployment of release-candidate EAR files to Websphere.

Software Analyst, Kaiser Permanente 02/2002 – 09/2006:

Software development and customer support for Kaiser’s Clinical Information System (CIS). Responsibilities included:

• On-call Level-3 support and emergency problem resolution for Kaiser’s CIS application, an online patient chart and ordering system.
• Research and Development into a system for archiving patient charts as XML.
• Data mining and report generation from clinical patient chart data, stored in DB2.
• Development of a Web-based report generator, transforming existing legacy data into alternate formats (HTML, PDF, etc.).
• Development of adapter applications to connect otherwise incompatible monitoring systems.

Senior Design Technologist, Rare Medium 11/2000 – 08/2001:

Responsible for the implementation of client-side and server-side web and interactive- television projects. This included:
